Pellissippi State Community College has welcomed nearly 1,000 students from area schools this week to learn more about the college and Appalachian heritage.
The Hardin Valley Campus is serving as the headquarters for this season of Appalachian Sessions, a locally produced television series featuring Appalachian-based musicians who are interested in sharing their talents beyond the region.
Located in Friendsville at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this campus is home to an apiary and a research vineyard as well as our award winning Culinary Institute.
Our largest campus, at 144 acres, has a walking trail and disc golf course as well as the Student Recreation Center, the Bagwell Center for Media and Art and the Clayton Performing Arts Center.
The Magnolia Avenue Campus is easily accessible by car or public transportation – or even by foot for residents of downtown Knoxville and surrounding areas.
Situated in the eastern portion of Knox County, this campus houses the college's welding, nursing and cyber-defense programs and is also home to the Appalachian Heritage Project.
